The Learning Commons, located on the first floor of Richter Library, is a new way of experiencing academic life outside the classroom.  Here students can access academic services, use digital tools and technologies, connect with others, discover new services / resources, and inspire creativity.  The renovation was completed while the entire library remained operational for students and staff.  7,500 sqft of the 1st floor was demolished to make way for 150 new seating options, consultation rooms, flex space, etc… all with LED lighting and new lighting controls, state of the art AV systems, glass partitions, custom built casework and desks, writable surfaces, etc...
